Important Notice – SIDC Cautions Public Against Purchasing Fake SC Licensing Exam Questions and Materials

SIDC Cautions Public Against Purchasing Fake SC Licensing Exam Questions and Materials

The Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC), would like to caution the public against buying fake exam questions or materials relating to the Securities Commission Licensing Examinations (SCLE) from unauthorised online websites and third-party sources, including e-commerce platforms.

As the learning and development arm of Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), we would like to stress that ONLY SIDC is authorised to administer the licensing examinations and to provide materials for the SCLE. Any form of sale, copying, reproduction, distribution, publication or dissemination of all SCLE related materials for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited and is an infringement of SIDC’s intellectual property rights under the laws of Malaysia and other relevant jurisdictions. SIDC will also not be liable or held responsible for any complaints, costs or damages incurred from purchases from these unauthorised sources.

This notice is being issued as there have been a number of potential scam websites and sellers on e-commerce platforms that claim to sell copies (whether in hardcopy or softcopy format) of “SCLE Sample Question Sets and Study Guides” to the general public.

Members of the public are urged to be wary of websites and third-party sources offering such materials and are advised to contact us via email at AssessmentSecretariat@sidc.com.my should they come across such dubious websites or sellers.
