Trading E-Workshop for Professionals

This initiative is supported by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF)

The moving average is a technical analysis tool to understand and forecast market direction, beginning with the process of price analysis. Generally, there are two (2) types of moving average used by technical analysts, i.e. Simple Moving Average (SMA) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA). Moving average plots average prices over a defined period of time and is typically overlaid onto a candlestick or bar chart to guide traders and investors in executing appropriate trading.

This e-workshop will take participants on a journey to discover their technical analysis skills. It provides participants knowledge on moving averages and how to understand the market direction when applying moving average onto a candlestick chart for trading and investment.
