BUMIPUTERA TRAINING FUND (BTF) – FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

Training programmes are open to all Bumiputera employees in the stockbroking industry, inclusive of management, licensed representatives, executives and support staff.

Applications must be made using the BTF Application Form typed or neatly written. The completed application form should be submitted to the Secretariat via email to btf@sidc.com.my no later than seven (7) working days before the course date.

You should receive a confirmation email from the BTF Secretariat within three (3) days before the course date. Notwithstanding the BTF Secretariat’s approval, the application is only deemed successful upon receipt of the course registration confirmation from the training provider/organiser.

Selection will be based on a first-come-first-served-basis and subject to funding availability.

Cancellation without replacement
You are required to submit your cancellation without replacement must be made in writing to the BTF Secretariat at least fourteen (14) days before the course date is only valid with acknowledgement of receipt of the notification from the BTF Secretariat.

Cancellation with a replacement candidate
You are required to notify the BTF Secretariat with the completed replacement candidate’s BTF course registration form not later than seven (7) working days before the programme date.A penalty fee amounting to double the course fee will be imposed on registered participants who fail to attend the course.
