As regional Head of S&P Global Ratings’ Sustainable Finance, Bertrand leads the company’s initiatives in ESG materiality analysis and Second Party Opinions on Sustainable Financing, and is the company’s spokesperson on sustainability considerations. Between 2011 and 2020, he was involved in credit ratings in Heavy industries and Services. In a previous life, Bertrand spent nine years in Paris with HSBC in several financing and credit advisory roles. In addition to an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand), a postgraduate degree from the ESCP Europe business school (France), he is an EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst®, a holder of a Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR®) Certificate and a CFA charterholder.
