Job Purpose
Reporting to the General Manager, Industry Engagement, you are responsible to design and execute impactful communication and marketing activities that strengthen SIDC’s corporate reputation, visibility, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires creativity and innovation in content creation, digital and social media campaigns, and brand storytelling. It also covers media engagement and corporate-level internal communications, ensuring alignment with SIDC’s brand, organisational priorities, and strategic positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development & Storytelling – Develop creative, engaging, and high-quality content (press releases, publications, campaigns, digital platforms, collaterals) that builds SIDC’s narrative and brand voice.
- Digital & Social Media Campaigns –To plan, manage, and execute active campaigns across social media and digital platforms (LinkedIn, website, EDM, etc.), ensuring timely, relevant, and engaging communication that drives reach, interaction, and impact.
- Internal Communications (Corporate Level) -Support dissemination of corporate announcements, key messages, and staff engagement initiatives that reflect SIDC’s culture and priorities.
- Media & Public Relations – Coordinate media coverage, maintain media networks, and support profiling and thought-leadership initiatives to enhance corporate visibility.
- Brand Positioning & Identity -To ensure consistent use of SIDC’s brand identity and tone of voice across all materials, platforms, and campaigns, strengthening recognition and trust.
- Programme & Event Communications – Provide creative campaign ideas, design support, and messaging for SIDC’s programmes and events, including pre-event promotion, live coverage, and post-event highlights.
- Analytics, Insights & Innovation – Monitor and analyze campaign results, media coverage, and digital performance; recommend improvements and explore new tools, trends, and platforms to strengthen SIDC’s marketing and communications impact.
- Coordination & Support- Manage vendors, liaise with partners, and collaborate across departments to deliver integrated, innovative communication strategies and outcomes.
- Carry out cross-function and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth implementation of SIDC’s KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism/Communications.
- 2 – 3 year(s) of experience in publishing, communications, content and creative writing or similar industry.
Other General Requirements
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Strong computer skills, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Familiar with creative design work and simple graphics and videos.
- Sound knowledge of the Malaysian capital market or financial services industry.

Job Purpose
Reports to the General Manager, Sales, your role is to acquire and manage new and existing clients by marketing and selling SIDC’s training and conference product and services with the purpose of expanding clientele and growing SIDC’s business opportunities through best communication channels for targeted audiences to secure business as well as participants for SIDC’s programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manager in developing and implementing sales plans for SIDC programmes according to the client needs.
- Responsible for sales and administration for public and online programmes and supports all marketing activities.
- Provide customised programmes consultation on client’s training needs and requirements, and presenting the proposed solutions.
- To acquire new clients and build client base through and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Actively assist clients’ enquiries on programmes’ details, programmes’ registration, invoice issuance and payment, and other relevant enquiries.
- Support manager in preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
- Actively initiate sales activities to achieve the financial target as well as other KPI sets by the
- Adhere to all SIDC policies, procedures, business’ ethic codes, standard and formats in presentation, proposals and professionalism.
- Carry out cross-function and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth operations of the department’s and SIDC’s KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Finance or
- 3-5 year(s) of working experience in sales & key client relationship
Other General Requirements
- Experience in the financial services, education, training and relevant industry is an added

We are seeking dynamic, dedicated, competent and suitably qualified freelance trainers interested in working with the SIDC, the leading capital market learning and development solutions provider in Malaysia and emerging capital markets, to provide and deliver high quality programmes to capital market participants.
Main Accountabilities:

- Develop training materials, case studies and questions meeting SIDC’s standards based on programme objectives

Anti-Money Laundering Act and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act (AMLATFA) 2001, Corporate Governance, Compliance, Investment Banking & Treasury and any other field related to the capital market
Key Requirements:
- Degree holder and above
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the capital market
- Excellent presentation and delivery skills
- Pleasant personality and ability to connect with the audience
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Willing to travel

INTERNSHIP @ SIDC
The SIDC internship programme is designed to give you a first-hand experience of the work environment and allows you to apply the knowledge, skill sets and techniques that you have acquired as a student. You will receive coaching and mentoring from your supervisor and colleagues to help you grow and achieve your career goals.
In an environment conducive to learning, you will be inculcated with skills that enhance your employability in areas such as problem-solving, communication & interpersonal skills, teamwork, and professional work ethics through work interactions with stakeholders at various levels.
Academic Requirement:
- We welcome graduates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills from Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Studies, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Islamic Finance and Banking, Languages, Communications, Law and other disciplines. Those with relevant professional qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Internship Requirements:
- Currently residing in and is a citizen of Malaysia,
- Currently a penultimate or a final year student pursuing a relevant undergraduate degree in any discipline from a reputable academic institution locally or abroad,
- An academic track record with a minimum of Second Class Honours or CGPA 3.0 or equivalent.
- Able to intern for a minimum period of 2 months
