Dear Valued Customers, With reference to the recent announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Sales and Service Tax (SST) rate will increase from the current 6 percent to 8 percent effective 1 March 2024, applicable to all taxable services including consultancy and training services. Please take note that the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) will implement the new SST rate at 8 percent for its consultancy and training services with effect from 1 March 2024.
