Examinations Executive

PURPOSE

Provide technical support and management of capital market professional examinations and certification to facilitate human capital development and to establish SIDC as the premier assessment centre in APEC.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Establish strong business network with Islamic Capital Market (ICM) thinkers, writers, trainers & subject matter experts worldwide and associations
  • Monitor emerging ICM issues, trends and development of global capital markets to identify business opportunities for training interventions and initiatives
  • Plan and direct TNI/TNA research to ensure effectiveness, currency and relevance of all ICM programmes
  • Responsible for overall program design, development, delivery and financial feasibility for all ICM training initiatives
  • Plan and direct the management of T&D resources for optimum efficiency
  • Development and facilitation of ICM-ITI courses
  • Review evaluation reports and propose/recommend new initiatives and ideas to ensure continued SIDC market leadership of ICM training
  • Coach and develop staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Honours Degree in Finance/Law/Economics with 3 to 5 years to related working experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge of training methodology

Event Management Executive

PURPOSE

Coordinate and implement customer relations activities in supporting the SIDC brand of products and services for local, international customers in order to raise and maintain SIDC’s presence as the leading capital markets training centre in APEC

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Implement and manage all customer relation activities effectively and efficiently for SIDC
  • Responsible for monitoring usage and undertaking improvements of infrastructure for all customer relations activities
  • Experienced in event management activities, preferably conferences, seminars and corporate training programmes.
  • Coordinate and maintain alliances and close rapport with strategic business partners to ensure customer relations services offered by SIDC are up to the required SIDC standards
  • Responsible for ensuring established communication network for internal and external stakeholders are carried smoothly for the benefit of maintaining SIDC’s reputation
  • Ensure expenditure does not exceed approved budgets. Track and monitor expenditure to ensure cost-saving measures are carried out on an on-going basis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Honours degree in related field with 1-3 years related work experience

Training & Development Executive (ITI)

PURPOSE

Plan, develop and implement industry training initiatives for various capital market participants to raise standards of professionalism and competencies

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead-manage appointed factuality of course trainers to ensure quality delivery of programs
  • Plan and conduct training needs analysis and ascertain competency development gaps of intermediaries
  • Develop training curriculum and syllabus for the various market intermediaries
  • Plan and conduct specific research to ensure effectiveness in construction of design and delivery mechanisms of programs
  • Maintain close network with domestic and international speakers and lead-manage speakers of all programmes.
  • Propose and recommend training interventions by review of evaluation report and industry feedback to ensure continued relevancy and marketability of courses
  • Coach and develop staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Honours degree in finance/law/economics with 3-5 years of related working experience
  • Knowledge and experience in capital market is an advantage
  • Knowledge of training methodology
