The main objective of listing is to raise new equity capital for business growth and expansion. In Malaysia, becoming a public listed company on Bursa Malaysia can be the perfect springboard for success. As a company prepares to go public, it is important to understand that a communications strategy is just as valuable as a company’s Initial Public Offerings (IPO) execution plan when it comes to supporting and achieving the goals. There is no single approach to developing a successful communications plan pre and post IPO, especially given the diversity of approaches taken. This programme will focus on how the executives involved with IPO could effectively manage the communications processes to ensure the corporate exercise taken, are well understood by the internal and external stakeholders when companies are newly listed on the stock exchange.
