Islamic Capital Market Graduate Training Scheme (ICMGTS)

 
Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) and Securities Commission Malaysia have jointly developed and introduced Islamic Capital Market Graduate Training Scheme (ICMGTS). This programme is intended to create a pool of human capital to facilitate the development of ICM in Malaysia. To ensure the success of this key objective, emphasis will be placed on producing forward thinking professionals with sound technical knowledge and good communication skills. Funded by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), ICMGTS is intended to provide an avenue for graduates, to acquire the right skills set and a basic knowledge of ICM. Essentially, ICMGTS provides a comprehensive overview of ICM, based on a variety of teaching methodologies comprising lectures, illustrative examples, case studies, simulation and interaction, that can be readily applied for complex ICM principles and that will help equip you with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to enter the industry.
 
Objective
The objective of ICMGTS is to provide training and attachment opportunity for 200 graduates in meeting the growing demand of ICM in Malaysia over the next two years.
 
Entry Requirements
• Malaysian citizen
• Age 30 years and below
• Possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Have at least a second class upper degree or its equivalent from a recognised institution of higher  earning in any of the following fields:
i. Accounting/Islamic Accounting
ii. Banking/Islamic Banking
iii. Economics/Islamic Economics
iv. Finance/Islamic Finance
v. Legal
vi. Shariah
vii. Any other related fields
